Can u explain exactly safety measures (if u have one describe how u set up features) so i can tell my mom to let me get one.

Well, in the top right corner, once you join, there is a link to a page where you can edit your privacy settings. You can control who can see your profile. (only your friends or the whole network you join) You can also control who sees your pictures, but you can't really control who sees pictures of you on OTHER peoples profiles (ex. say your friend added a picture of you on their profile. The only way you would be able to get it off there is ask your friend to take it down) You can also control who can find you in the search, (everyone, only your friends and network or even no one) if you choose everyone, you can control what they see. (picture or no picture, link to add you as a friend or message you) As for adding friends, someone can request to add you as a friend but they can only see your profile when you have added them, and you can also block friends or add them to you limited profile (you can change privacy settings just for them) if you change you mind later. Facebook is overall pretty safe if you are smart about what you do and how you do it.
Reply:well only the people that belong on your network (your school) can see your name on the list, and you have the ability to block people, you can choose who sees what information. and you have the ability to not put any info on a question. all questions asked to be put on your profile are optional to be answered
