How do I put a background on Face book?

I just made a Facebook and it's so much harder than Myspace...and I don't know how to put a background. Dose anyone???

How do I put a background on Face book?
Facebook does not have custom layouts like MySpace has. Everyone's profile looks exactly the same (minus all the applications)





If you would like to personalize your profile a bit add some applications.

Reply:you can't. everyone's got the same background.. you can personalize it useing application, however you'll never have a fully customizable background like in Myspace!

While myspace is known for its ability to let its users customize their pages, facebook is more about it's clean layout. You can customize your page a little by using applications, but you can't add a new background.





That's okay though! With some pictures of you and maybe an application or two, your facebook will be all you!
Reply:There are no backgrounds. The point of Facebook is simply to contact and keep in touch with friends. If you're a beautiful and unique snowflake your friends will already know it.
