Is myspace bad........or is face book bad.....which one is better....?

hey i wanted to know if myspace is bad even if you dont out any personal information and can u lock ur account so that only the people that ask u can have it...........same thing for facebook and which one is better and worse.pros and cons would help

If you don't give the information out , then no one can get it. There equally the same, it depends on the risk YOU as a person want to take, If you decide to give your # and flirt with strangers, thats thats not the sites fault, but thereselves. Talking to strangers on myspace is the same as going up to a stranger on the street!

Reply:They are both pretty much the same. You can make your profile PRIVATE on both, so no one can see your information unless you add them (and of course you would only add people you know.) I know myspace attracts some sexual predators, which is really bad, especially if you're a young girl (I'm assuming you are.) However, what is happening to the girls who have been attacked, is that THEY are giving their information out to strangers. Strangers will ask the girl to be a myspace friend, and she will accept. They will chat for a while, and then the pervert will say something along the lines of "Hey, let's meet up sometime, where do you live?"


Your myspace profile only has your age, and city you live in, and a sn you chose. You do not have to disclose anything else if you chose not to. Just don't talk to any random people you don't know!!

Reply:to me I think facebook is better b/c no one can access your page w/o being a friend, and on myspace u can't lock it so anyone can see it.
Reply:Myspace is much better. I had a facebook account for just over a month and it really got on my nerves.


Facebook have applications that you can add to your page, but now myspace have them as well.


On myspace you can add different layouts to your profile, facebook is just plain white and boring. I wouldn't recommend facebook to anybody.


You could open an account with both of them and then choose the on you like the best.
